Users with a byuh.edu domain are now only allowed to send up to 500 recipients per day.
Users with a go.byuh.edu (students mainly) are limited to only 250/day.
Users can use the group feature which allows them to add recipients into a group, and then the group is counted as only one recipient.
Here are the steps if you need. We are in the process of getting the steps into a knowledge base so we can share it with users.
How to create groups in Outlook (online)
- Click on the People tab in Outlook (top left side)
- On the top right, find the drop down arrow next to "New Contact" and select "New Contact List"
- Enter the name of the contact list and add the email recipients, then click create
How to create groups in Outlook (client)
- Click on the People in Outlook (bottom left side)
- On the top right, find and select "New Contact Group"
- Enter the name of the contact list and select "Add Members" to add the email recipients, then select "Save & Close"
The email policy limit has changed due to phishing attacks which have compromised accounts.
