Script: Troubleshoot Keyboard Not Working
1. Start with Basic Questions:
- Agent: "Is the keyboard completely unresponsive, or are only some keys not working?"
- If completely unresponsive: Proceed to Step 2.
- If only some keys are not working: Skip to Step 5.
2. Check Physical Connection:
- Agent: "Let’s ensure the keyboard is properly connected."
- If using a wired keyboard:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to the computer.
- Try plugging it into a different USB port.
- If using a wireless keyboard:
- Check if the batteries are working or need replacement.
- Make sure the Bluetooth receiver or dongle is properly connected.
- Try re-pairing the keyboard via Bluetooth.
3. Restart the Computer:
- Agent: "Sometimes, a simple restart can fix the issue."
- Restart the computer and see if the keyboard starts working.
- If the keyboard works in the BIOS (before the OS loads): The problem is likely with the operating system or drivers.
4. Check for Driver Issues:
- Agent: "Let’s confirm that the keyboard drivers are properly installed."
- On Windows:
- Open Device Manager → Expand Keyboards.
- Right-click the keyboard and Uninstall Device. Restart the computer, and Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.
- On macOS:

5. Test with Another Device:
