Apple devices, including Mac computers, iPads, and accessories, are covered under AppleCare+ for Schools. This plan provides comprehensive coverage with no service fees for Mac computers and limited service fees for iPads and their accessories. Wear and tear are not covered.

Apple Computers: AppleCare+ for Schools Coverage
All Apple computers (laptops and desktops) are covered under AppleCare+ for Schools for four (4) years with no service fees.

- 4-year coverage from the AppleCare+ for Schools purchase date
- Up to two incidents of accidental damage protection per year
- 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone
- Global repair coverage
Service & Repair Options
Apple provides multiple service options:
- Onsite service for desktop computers – Request a technician visit or courier pickup.
- Mail-in repair for laptops – Use a prepaid shipping box provided by Apple.
- Carry-in repair – Bring your Mac to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
Apple Hardware Coverage
AppleCare+ for Schools includes repair coverage for:
- Mac computer (laptops and desktops)
- Battery (if it retains less than 80% of its original capacity)
- Included accessories (such as power adapters)
- Apple memory (RAM)
- Apple USB SuperDrive
Software Support Coverage
AppleCare+ for Schools also includes direct access to Apple experts for assistance with:
- Using macOS and iCloud
- Apple-branded apps (Photos, iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, etc.)
- Connecting to printers and wireless networks
- macOS Server support (graphical interface only)
For advanced server operation and integration issues, AppleCare OS Support must be purchased separately.
Apple iPads: AppleCare+ for Schools Coverage
Apple iPads are covered under AppleCare+ for Schools for three (3) years.
AppleCare+ for Schools Benefits for iPads
- 3-year coverage from the AppleCare+ for Schools purchase date
- Covers iPads, Apple Pencils, and Apple-branded iPad keyboards
- Up to two incidents of accidental damage protection per year
- $49 service fee for iPad repairs
- $29 service fee for Apple Pencil or Apple-branded keyboard repairs
- For iPad models released after May 1, 2024, the screen repair fee is $29; all other accidental damage is $99
- 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone
Service & Repair Options for iPads
- Mail-in repair – Send in your iPad using a prepaid Apple shipping box.
- Carry-in repair – Bring your iPad to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
- Express Replacement Service – Apple ships a replacement device while yours is being repaired.

AppleCare+ for Schools provides repair or replacement coverage for:
- iPad
- Battery (if it retains less than 80% of its original capacity)

Software Support Coverage for iPads
Apple experts provide assistance with:
- Using iPadOS and iCloud
- Connecting to wireless networks
- Apple-branded iPad apps (FaceTime, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, etc.)
Mac Pros and High-Cost Apple Desktops
- Mac Pros or any Apple desktop purchases over $5,000 are covered under a four-year warranty and replacement cycle.
Important Notes
- Service coverage applies only to the original Mac, iPad, and accessories.
- Accidental damage incidents reset every 12 months with continued coverage.
- Local telephone fees may apply, and hours of operation vary by region.
- Service availability depends on country/region and the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider.
- Replacement devices may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts tested to meet Apple’s standards.
AppleCare+ for Schools benefits are separate from and in addition to the Apple Limited Warranty and consumer protection laws.
